Drawing Tablet Cursor Jumps Vertical Line
generalerror,
Thanks for posting to the Microsoft community forum. We understand you have some concerns with using the Surface pen while your palm is on the screen. Rest assured, we'll try and help.
In your post, you did mention the following: " There are issues with drop out and erratic lines if your skin touches the screen at all, which I was able to demonstrate on all devices in the store. "
Are you saying that on all the devices (Surface) that were in the store are all exhibiting the same thing?
In regards to the "verticals line glitch" you've also mentioned, are you able to attach an image/video to your next reply so we can see exactly what you are referring to?
We look forward to your reply.
Respectfully,
Ben_Mk

Here is a video of my issue. First I am writing with my palm touching the screen (which is normal writing). Notice how the circles are completely distorted and the line drops out constantly.
At the end of the video I take my palm off of the screen, and the pen responds perfectly.
In other words, if my skin touches the screen at all: the pen cursor exhibits erratic behavior. In some instances the cursor will shoot down the screen and draw a vertical line.
Every display model Surface in the store had this issue. I exchanged the Surface twice, and all of those devices had the issue right out of the box. The manager said there were people in the store before me with the same issue, he replaced a customers device five times until they gave up. He notified Microsoft of the issue.
I've updated, installed Ntrig, tried writing every possible way, calibrated, wiped the machine and re-installed, etc, etc, -I'VE TRIED EVERYTHING.
Although I have never seen a Surface Pro 3 without this issue, I have heard that some people use it with no problem. But there are countless people like me who can't use the Surface. Here are some examples of more people with this issue:

Hi generalerror,
Thank you for providing the video and a detailed description.
Could you reproduce this in apps other than Photoshop?
Have you tried using Surface app?
Kind regards,
Clare

Yes, this issue persists in all apps including OneNote. Yes, I have used the Surface App.
The last video I provided shows an example of the issue in OneNote. It's the same in all programs though.
